HCG Diet Experience
I'm recording my weight loss for each day of the restrictive phase. I look great at 175 and I weigh 222 now. I plan to do this for 40 days and hope to lose a pound a day. I lost weight on the loading phase and didn't do it properly. Started hcg on march 31 and did 3 days of hac. Planned to start on Monday, April 2, but we weren't ready emotionally, nor were we prepared.
Tuesday, April 3, 2012. 219 on day one of the restrictive phase. Amazingly easy to stay on the restriction. Not hungry and good energy.
April 4. 218. Difficult in am. Waited till 12 to eat and I really wasn't thinking well. Talked to my naturopath and she will give antioxidants and recommended having two egg whites for breakfast. I remembered the spinach, strawberry, lemon juice, ice and water smoothie. If we leave out the fruit from lunch, that should work. We can see if we halt weight loss and adjust if necessary.
April 5. 216.5 . hungry and somedifficulty thinking. Started anti oxidants in evening. Take am and pm.
4-6. 215.5. Difficult day again. Found out my dad is back in hospital. I will leave tomorrow am to fly and be with him. He is very ill. I hope he gets through this. Cheated and had an extra egg while boiling Easter eggs. We are having asparagus and turkey patties cooked on the grill. Hope they aren't dried out with no oil to seal the juice in. They were actually good.
4-7 217. 3 hours sleep packing to leave town for hospital.
4-8. Away at hospital. Eating breakfast of egg white omelet with approved veggies. Salad and lean protein. Oysters and fish and asparagus.
4-9. Enjoyed egg white omelet. Salad with flank steak. Flounder with steamed spinach.
4-10. egg white omelet. Salad and chicken. Trout and spinach. 2 drinks and a glass of port celebrating dad making it through surgery.
4-11. Bison and asparagus. Flank steak and salad. Egg white omelet.

4-14. 212.5 had grain vodka. One drink.
4-15. 212.5. Didn't have the prosecco and had lots of strawberries instead.
4-16. 212.5. Ate humus, extra protein, lots of salt. 3 pieces of dk chocolate.
4-17. 212.5. I'm bored. Today will be a program day. If no loss then apple day tomorrow. Feel resentful, I'm cheating ( having little nibbles)and I'm not losing. Pilates. Out to dinner and did hcg. Small amount of peppermint preach mints to sit through dance performance (gotenburg ballet).

4-20. 209. hcg. Extra protein and veggies.
4-21. 210.5 what? Gaining weight? Why are you surprised? Two homemade strawberry infused vodka drinks.
4-22. 210.5. Again? I'm a failure.
4-23. 210. Did Pilates today. Pretty frustrated with the scale. 1/2 pound down is the right direction. I wasn't even recording my weight for those two up days. Need to distance from the numbers and just trust the program.
4-24. 208. Pilates today. Love the group class at evolve. At 207 I'm the weight I was when I was 30 and Mr. August from Bethlehem asked me if I was pregnant. I was horrified then. Now my heaviness seems so normal. It isn't. Did well eating yesterday. Had egg white, early lunch, hard boiled egg white again, lots of celery. Grapefruit and an apple. Very hungry at dinner time. Cooked kale in beef broth. Should have blanched kale first. Added green curry paste, bison flank steak, miracle noodles.
